This was a barometer game, each pair of tables sharing a set of
preduplicated boards. Conditions of play for the game are that both
pairs are equally responsible for playing the right boards.
When the original defenders played the board against the right pair
on the next round, the bidding was the same and of course the same
lead was made.
I would have thought that the original heart lead would be UI in the
second case, and go from there. I can see that declarer might be
adversely limited by the UI, but he was partially at fault for
starting the board not scheduled for play that round.
