If I ever should happen that I come to your club for a tournament where
"we're all friends and we play for fun" please remind me that it is OK to
bypass the laws like this. 

After all anybody complaining is only destroying the fun.

As I have indicated before: 3NT+3 is outrageous, 3NT+2 can be an acceptable
compromise depending on the circumstances and 3NT= is the correct result if
you shall follow the laws to the letter (and intention).
