Hi all,

I try to follow the various discussions and that puts me in mind a short SF
story I once read. In a more or less far away future, the Terrian observatories
capture signals from the Large Magellanic Cloud that are beyond doubt sent by an
ET intelligence. Unfortunately, they remain incomprehensible no matter the
scientists' efforts. After hundreds of years of energetic restrains, humanity is
able to send a short message simply coded: "What do you have to tell us?" Some
more hundreds of years later, a brief gap in the incomprehensible signal flow
is filled with the answer, using Earth's code: "Nothing." Once more, efforts to
send a complain: "Then why do you send us messages?" After the normal delay: "We
don't, we were talking to the Aldebarran Civilisation."

So, what may ESP mean? And BTA? Thank you.
