I am having some problems here with the distinction
between L20F1 and L20F2.

(a) Until the opening lead has been faced it is not possible
to determine that the final pass has occured.

(b) The authority to ask about relevent calls available but
not made is contained in L20F1. Surely you cannot claim
that this is not available when considering an opening lead.
