Sorry to spoil the story, but this is not the only way ...

Declarer can prohibit the lead of a diamond, the DA & Q are picked up
but the DK remains a MPC.

W leads C2 won by dummy's CA.   Now S2 is led from dummy and ruffed,
with W obligated to discard DK.
