Ah. Okay, fair enough - although I bet (just guessing) the "correct"  
procedure after three passes is to remove the screen and then pick up  
the bidding cards. It doesn't seem your "normal practice would really  
save all that much time, but what do I know? :-)

A sensible regulation - which of course means it isn't in place here  
in the ACBL. :-(
