Yes.
You have been misinformed. The CC shows a wrong agreement.
You do not need to ask a second time, for the non-alert - it's up to 
them to get their act together and you are not obliged to drag them 
out of the shit. If you ask "your cc says Ghestem" and this wakes LHO 
up, he is entitled to change his mind, since your remark is AI to him 
(I think).
