verbal evidence is evidence.  
 
AG : Also, verbal evidence may come from other sources. If, for example,
players A and B agreed to play the system or convention teached to them by
player C, and if C doesn't know at present about the case, interviewing C
about the meaning of the bids may constitute valuable and truthworthy
evidence.
