This is because David is of the Old School, advocating that 4D is a slam 
try, while I'm a modernist, advocating that 4D is a mere choice of games.

This means that, in assessing whether 4H was obvious or not (it is, 
according to the New School), they should have checked how the pair treats 
such cue-bids.
