Mm. I think we have a lot of law where we don't care what the intent was, we 
just accept what the player did. I think that this is one such case. As ever 
I don't want to give the Probst cheat the opportunity to wriggle out and the 
honest but naive player the penalty.  So, to me, it is clear that "ruff" is 
unambiguous. There is no card in dummy that one can ruff with and that is 
THE END of the matter. Intent is not relevant.  john
