Sorry, I fail to see how East with any "normal" defense can avoid  two losers
in spades and one in each side suit for a total of five  losers?
 
Yes, I agree. It looks easy to switch to a diamond in time. As the 3H bid  
seems fine, I would therefore adjust to 3S-1.
