I never understood the appeal of the one-card-at-a-time idea.  When
defending, I want to see declarer's whole hand right away to figure
out what my partner has and whether or not declarer's ruffs are legal.
 I thought the laws require facing all of the cards first.  The
one-card-at-a-time method annoys me.
