The EBU Orange Book is of limited value to non-EBU
directors, since it is merely a compilation of EBU
system regulations.

On the other hand the EBU White Book is a highly
valuable guide for all directors.  The EBU-specific
advice in the White Book is far outweighed by
generally applicable directorial information.  See:
