Heh. I once asked experienced opponents "please explain your auction"
before the opening lead was faced. They said "huh?" I repeated my
question. They called the director. The *director* asked me which
call I wanted explained. :-( The auction had started 1C-1H-3H, and in
the course of the "discussion" responder asserted "I don't have to
explain what 3H means" - and the director backed her up on that. I
never did get an answer to my question.
