Indeed.
Many years ago my partner Steve Hurley and I had a
Symmetric Relay (system notes emailed on request)
auction. He signed off in 7D, which happened to
be my void. I was tempted to remove to 7NT, since
he had "obviously" got one of the relays wrong.
However, I chose to pass. The luck of the relays
meant that I was declarer. But I was pleased to
see Steve's solid nine-card diamond suit appear in
dummy, and even more pleased to note that 7D was
cold and 7NT was hopeless.
