I know all that. But that principle is used when people are telling
too little - not too much. Surely an opponent cannot blame you for
telling what's in the hand, not in the system.
And to me, the general principle governing this matter is that a
player is not allowed to inform his partner that there is a
misunderstanding on the books.
What the higher purpose is, is up to us to investigate.

Oh no, this interpretation has been issued by me for 10 years already,
and was present under even the 1987 laws.

able to conclude that I've been right all along.
