Except, perhaps, that, as 3NT was bound to win most of the time with the 
right explanation being given, the ill-gotten part of the gain is quite small.

See above. However, it might seem a good idea to be allowed to use L12C2 in 
combination with weighting to give EW 3NT-2 and NS a weighted score.

You see, there is no reason whatsoever to give NS more than their due share.
We don't want to encourage lawyering either.
