I pass.  LHO has majors, CHO had nothing to say (although I'd like to know
what agreements we had over the described 2C)
 
 
I'd say they're the same as over any 2-suited bid.
For me this means 2H = sound D raise, 2S = strong C bid, double = nail them
in at least one major.
 
The problem could be that partner showed surprise about the meaning (because
he holds long spades), and UI now exists. However, the fact that *this* 2C
is surprizing isn't UI.
 
(BTW, this 2C overcall would be pre-alertable IMNSHO)
