I guess it depends on how light the 2S could be and what I think of
the opponents' expertise. If my opponents are Cohen and Berkowitz
then the chance that the wheels have fallen off doesn't seem too high.
But I see your point---if it seems like the opponents are having a
brain cramp then I shouldn't give them another chance to find their
game. (I've made that mistake countless times.) Of course, if my
opponents are Cohen and Berkowitz then there probably wouldn't have
been a hesitation in the first place, so maybe my argument doesn't
make sense.
