It's a bit of a stretch, but in the spirit of EK... I will tell East
that due to her partner's error in procedure my duty to "rectify" and
"maintain the progress of the game" is now paramount, and that as soon
as it is rectified (which occurs when West gets his improperly timed
question answered) the game will continue normally and she will be in a
position to exercise all her rights.
