Club ace. Because West might bid this way with AKQ9842 -- AJ43 32. 

If this is the sort of west who would never do that, I would consider the book lead of a diamond. But I would only consider that if I were virtually certain W wouldn't be a trickster; looking at three small spades makes a legit beat of a properly bid grand really remote.
