No law-makers and few directors seem to 
sympathise with this concern of players.

But the overwhelming proportion of those  
administrators whose attitudes Nigel deprecates 
are elected representatives of bridge constituencies.
They might think they speak for much greater 
numbers of players, among whom they include  
themselves, than does Nigel.
