[blml] Wrong direction

This reminds me of a recent incident. In the Brunel Trophy, the wallet was apparently not placed at an angle of exactly 45 degrees to the table, and both my partner and one of the opponents took out the wrong cards and looked at them. We told our teammates that the board was void, and they were disappointed, as they had apparently had a good result. As there was a double infraction, no one every considered any solution except for a void board.
But... this was a multiple teams event, and my partner and I were N/S. Wallets can be a little confusing. We were stationary. Would we have been at fault if the wallet had been placed so that the angle was not precise and it looked to an opponent as if one of our hands was his, and he took it out?
Cheers
Stefanie Rohan
