Its not my view it is what the law says. If a delay was appropriate
then the law should not begin "When..."
The players (defenders and declarer) still have a right to inspect the
previous trick provided that their side has not played to the next
trick L66A 2007. There is nothing in the laws however allowing those
players to attempt to delay the game by holding their card face it.
It is a clear infraction of L65A requiring the card to be turned down
"When..." all four players have played to the previous trick.
