In another forum a poster responded to this question:

"On the diamond lead, (you have Tx of diamonds opposite Kx), what do you
play? MP." - Kx in dummy if that is not clear.
"Quick duck seems clear "

I am not sure exactly what was intended by "Quick duck" but it seems to me
that an "in tempo duck" is ok but a "quick duck" could be construed as
trying to deceive the opponents by varying your tempo.

"A player may not attempt to mislead an opponent by means of remark or
gesture, through the haste or hesitancy of a call or play (as in hesitating
before playing a singleton), or by the manner in which the call or play is
made." L73D2

Could a "quick duck" be a violation here?
