Incredible to you it may be, but I've seen it often enough, especially
over a Cappelletti/Hamilton/Pottage 2C overcall.

The same as you'd have done over the 1NT opener without interference, of
course. And if you'd have bid 2C Stayman, you double instead.

Oh great. So now you're advocating that even system notes aren't proof
of system if you happen not to like the system. Just what is it that you
want, a copy that's been signed and dated by a High Court judge or
something?

The only absurd thing in all this is that you apparently
believe a pair are going to dash out and typeset a set of system notes
before they appear before a committee solely on the basis that YOU
don't like they system they've chosen to play.
