Also, the average player does know, I think, the difference between receipt 
of UI and use of UI, but knows that he cannot tell the difference, if you 
know what I mean. This is one of the reasons why it is important to try to 
minimise the creation of UI. It makes people unhappy even if they are not 
damaged by it (or if, for various reasons, the director is never called in 
the first place).
