(Newbie, sorry if this is inappropriate or already well-known).

This law seems to go out of its way to be friendly to the offending side  
(while still trying to maintain equity for the nonoffending side). I think  
it is going to be great for the game of bridge and I wish there could be  
more laws like it. The harsh laws make bridge less attractive to players.  
As a club director, I am looking forward to using it.
