This is a matter of local regulation, as it isn't inherently a problem; there is 
only the potential for a player to give information while kibitzing his 
teammates.  The ACBL, for example, requires a player sitting out to stay at 
least two tables away from his teammates, and not to kibitz the same board his 
teammates are playing.
